“GETTING THE WORD OUT ABOUT OVARIAN CANCER”
Tips for Talking to Groups & Writing Letters or Articles for Publication
Have you wanted to talk about ovarian cancer to a group you belong to, but weren’t quite sure what to say?
Would you like to write a letter to your local newspaper about the “Silent No More” Walk Run, but don’t know if you have the right words to do it?
MOCA is here to help. We are hosting two training sessions for ovarian cancer survivors, family members and friends – one in the east metro and one in the west metro. The purpose is to give you the tools you need to raise awareness of ovarian cancer by speaking to groups and writing letters or articles for publication.
Many of our members are already getting the word out. We could use your help too – and we have the information you need to do it. Join us for one of these fun, informal sessions:
6:00-7:00 Thursday, June 2 at the Hillcrest Recreation Center, 1978 Highland Parkway in St. Paul
6:00-7:00pm Monday, June 6 th at the Edina Library, 5280 Grandview Square (near Highway 100 and Eden Ave)
