Name of woman being honored by the square.
Heidi Leeson, diagnosed with ovarian cancer January 8, 2001.

Description of square.
Winnie-the-Pooh with balloons.

What would you like to tell us about the woman being honored?
Heidi chose Pooh Bear for her square to remind her of her delight in having been teacher/director of Pooh Corner Nursery School for 28 happy school years. Heidi started the pre-school and initiated and nurtured excellent intergenerational programming with the nearby elderly-interim residents of a nursing home.

Heidi’s blessings include being married nearly 40 years to a most “interesting man” (Mark), two sons (Kirk and Michael) who bring her comfort and joy, two daughters-in-law (Terri and Sharon) who are caring and wonderful, and one wonderous granddaughter, Mathilda Ellen.

Quilter contributing square and their relationship to the person being honored.
Joan Scheffen, friend
