Name of woman being honored by the square.
Kris Warn, co-founder of Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance (MOCA) is the honoree of this quilt square. Kris was an ovarian cancer survivor who died at a young age in March of 2002.
Description of square.
The square was actually created by Kris and finished by Sue McIntyre, a MOCA board member and good friend of Kris’.
What would you like to tell us about the woman being honored?
Kris Warn was a 41 year old woman who survived ovarian cancer for almost 5 years. She had a positive attitude and was always upbeat and compassionate when speaking with other ovarian cancer survivors.
Kris co-founded MOCA in the fall of 1999 and in her short time made so many things happen for MOCA. She was so vital to the organization and board and is dearly missed by all.
